1) What size air compressor should I use
for my machine?
The compressor should be a minimum of 2
horsepower, capable of 4 C.F.M.@100 P.S.I.
A 5-horsepower compressor is the ideal size and will
last many years longer.
We recommended that the compressed air supplied to
the depositor be run through an air drying system, as this
will increase the service life of the pneumatic components.
2) What air pressure should I be using when
operating the machine?
Optimum performance is achieved by setting
the air pressure gauge on the machine to 80 P.S.I at rest
and at least 70 P.S.I. while cycling.
3) How often do I need to chance my O-rings?
O-rings should be changed when you start
to see fluctuations in your deposit sizes, or if there are
any cuts, nicks, or flat spots on the ring. Some customers
change their O-rings every day while others change them
every week or two depending on the type of product they
are using.
4) What type of lubricant should I use on
my O-rings?
Ergomatix supplies each new machine with
a tube of Lubri-Film Plus. We recommend using this lubricant
as it has a U.S.D.A rating of H-1. The lubricant is sanitary,
non-toxic, odorless and tasteless.

care for your best options info@ergomatix.com

Can I run hot products through my machine?
Ergomatix makes special pistons and uni-valves
for hot products, allowing the machine to be run up to 180
degrees Fahrenheit.

We can arrange sales on a trial agreement
where you may return a purchased machine within a pre-determined
time if you are not satisfied with it’s performance.
10) How long will it take to get a machine?
We do not stock most standard machines. Our equipment is made to order and takes between
two and six weeks to produce, depending on the model and
current production schedule at time of order.
